The incident, which occurred around 5:40 pm, affected several apartments, including Belvedere and HEWO Apartments, forcing residents to seek alternative arrangements for their evening meals. Many residents were left with no choice but to eat out or order food online. The authorities promptly issued a notice on WhatsApp groups of the residential societies around 6 pm, informing them of the situation and the expected duration of the repair work.
