The All Arunachal Pradesh Youth Organisation (AAPYO) has expressed its gratitude to Rajya Sabha member Tai Tagak for his efforts in forwarding their representation to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The representation requests the minister’s intervention and the institution of an independent and impartial inquiry into the serious allegations concerning the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST). The AAPYO said that this timely intervention reflects a strong commitment to justice, transparency, and the protection of one of the premier educational institutions of the NE region.
The organisation now hopes that the union education ministry will take prompt action by constituting an independent inquiry.
