Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced that the Ramakrishna Mission (RKM) will establish two institutes of higher education in Arunachal Pradesh. The move aims to expand access to quality higher education and promote value-based learning in the state. The proposed institutes will be set up in Aalo in West Siang district and in Narottam Nagar in Tirap district.

The Chief Minister made the announcement after meeting a delegation of the Ramakrishna Mission led by Revered Swami Bodhasarananda Ji, the assistant general secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission.
