The Kra Daadi Zilla Parishad Chairperson, Tagru Kasha, has urged the education minister to take immediate action to post or transfer regular principals and headmasters to government schools in Kra Daadi district. This appeal comes as the absence of competent and dedicated school leaders has negatively impacted the academic performance and overall functioning of several schools in the district. Ineffective administrative arrangements have resulted in poor academic supervision, lack of administrative accountability, and hindered the development of institutions such as Government Higher Secondary School in Palin and Government Secondary Schools in Tali, Yangte, Chambang, Gangte, and Rai Balo. The role of a principal or headmaster is vital in ensuring effective school administration, maintaining academic standards, and creating a conducive learning environment for students.
Unfortunately, the irregular administration and ineffective leadership in these schools have adversely affected their academic performance and overall functioning. The students, teachers, parents, and local communities are facing difficulties due to the absence of efficient school leadership. Timely implementation of educational policies, monitoring of staff attendance, maintenance of discipline, and execution of developmental activities have become challenging.
The ZPC has emphasized the need for urgent action to address this issue and ensure the well-being of the schools and their stakeholders.
