Bomju Riram, a member of the Kamsa Dramatics Society (KDS), has been selected for the prestigious three-year diploma in dramatic arts course at the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, for the 2026-29 academic session. This achievement marks another milestone for Arunachal Pradesh’s growing theatre movement. Bomju, a native of Basar in Leparada district, is the daughter of Karbom Riram and Gumbi Riram.
The KDS has hailed her selection as an achievement for the state, reflecting years of dedication, discipline, and perseverance. The society has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing young creative talent, with Bomju’s success being a testament to this endeavour. Over the years, KDS members have secured admission to premier institutions such as the NSD, Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, Bhartendu Natya Academy, and FTI Arunachal, making significant contributions to theatre, cinema, and the performing arts.
