The Lower Siang district administration has issued a traffic advisory informing the public that the road stretch from Garu to Likabali, including the ALB road, will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 24 to 26 June. This closure is due to restoration and maintenance works being undertaken to ensure public safety and smooth execution of the project. The district administration has advised all road users to take note of the temporary closure and make necessary travel arrangements accordingly. Vehicles engaged in medical emergencies and other essential services may be permitted to pass through the work zone in exceptional circumstances.
However, this will be subject to regulation and clearance by the on-duty traffic and field personnel. The order has come into immediate effect and will remain in force for the specified period, unless modified by the competent authority.
