The Karnataka Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, has approved a project to construct a multi-specialty hospital in Yadgir. This decision was announced by MLA Channareddy Patil Tunnur, who stated that the project was discussed and approved during the Cabinet meeting.
The hospital was initially announced by former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the budget, with an allocation of ₹100 crore. The multispecialty hospital will have facilities to conduct necessary medical examinations, and offer complete treatment. The new hospital is expected to benefit people of Yadgir district, the MLA said.
The MLA also mentioned that the MRI scanning facility will soon be operational, as the initial work to set up the machine and technical equipment is nearing completion.
