MLA Alo Libang convened a meeting with Shivaji Munshi from the NABARD in Yingkiong on Friday to review the progress of all ongoing NABARD-funded projects in Upper Siang district. The meeting provided an opportunity for the MLA to assess the current status of these projects and discuss potential new developmental activities that may be undertaken in the region. Special focus was given to exploring avenues for assistance under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), which is expected to play a crucial role in bridging infrastructure gaps in the district. Libang emphasized the importance of timely completion of existing projects, urging the district administration to prepare a comprehensive plan for future developmental works under the RIDF.
The MLA assured of full support from the state government for initiatives aimed at the holistic development of Upper Siang district.
